WSP is committed to accelerating decarbonization in the built environment. As an extension of the company’s Emerge partnership program and as part of our Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) 2050 Commitment, WSP is building a database of innovative construction products that can reduce the embodied carbon of our buildings and infrastructure.
The database will be the one-stop-shop for low carbon products for WSP's clients and 65,000+ employees for potential use in projects.
The firm is undertaking the development of the database to:
- consolidate key information about available low carbon products and their associated manufacturers
- maximize adoption of those products across the many markets WSP serves, and
- eliminate friction in establishing contact with representatives and specifications of such products.
